Back in 2016 I watched a video about a way of generating income that made a lot of sense to me. I loved the simplicity and the way that the gal in the video communicated. This sounded completely up my alley. And that was Jessica.
We met and subsequently I did her training and started my medical billing business. She’s always been very easy to reach and helpful with all of the basics of setting up the biz and whatever I had to ask about billing which was great in the beginning.

Two years ago I wanted and needed to make a change in my life. Having spent the majority of my life working for others - some very good and some not so good - I decided to look into the idea of creating a business that would work around me and all the things I wanted to do. I reached out to a friend who recommended I contact Jessica. When she told me about the healthcare billing business and why she did it I was hooked. It aligned with what I wanted to do - help people as a primary goal - and believe it or not, it appealed to me in terms of puzzles. I LOVE digging in, figuring out why things are not doing as well as they should and resolving it. I immediately jumped on her training and went for it.
As this is my first business I was excited and terrified all at the same time. Jessica worked with me, answered questions, helped me close my first client and stayed with me the whole time.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1.) Do you teach us how to get clients?
Yes. Unlike most training on Medical Billing, a significant portion of the training is dedicated to how to get clients. After all, without clients, you won't have much of a business!
2.) How long does it take, on average, to get this business up and running?
This is widely variable. I have had trainees do it in a few months and others take as long as a year. The ones who take a year are usually busy doing other things. I would say the average person is somewhere in the middle. That said, I can not promise it will take any particular length of time or guarantee any particular results. I recommend setting your life up so you have a solid year to build. That said, I can only show you the way; the rest is up to you.
3.) How do I know if this career path is for me?
Good question! This career path is for you if desire a new skill that will take you into the future and doing quality work done is important to you. This path is for you if you are willing to put in the time to learn how to do a new skill and learn to do it well. Some of my trainees say being a medical biller is a bit like getting to solve puzzles, and they love that. This career is for you if you understand that you are your own best investment and you want to increase your skill set and use those skills to help healthcare offices and build the life you want.
This career is not for you if you are careless with your work or do not have the discipline to work for yourself. This career is not for you if you are looking for shortcuts or "get rich quick" schemes. Most importantly, this career is not for you if you are looking for someone else to save you or fix your life.
4.) Do you have any payment plans?

5.) How does this compare to regular medical billing training?
As someone who had to figure this field out quickly, I didn't have time to mess around with certifications that looked good on my wall but couldn't get me a job. My entire training is crafted so that you can actually put this in to use and bill for offices. I train competent billers. I train billers that have saved offices, financially speaking, on their first client. Ask anyone who has recently graduated another certification program and they will tell you how hard it is to even get an interview straight out of school.
My goal is financially and location independent billers who are actually good at what they do. Why? Because, in order to have a future in any business, you need more than a certification. You need to actually be good.
6.) This is a big investment. How do I know I'll be successful?
I cannot promise you any amount of success, that would be unethical of me. What I can do is break down some numbers:
An average sized Chiropractic client (we start in Chiropractic billing) will net you, the biller, about $2500 a month at approximately 5 hours of work a week. With only one client, it would take you less than 6 months to make back your investment. What other business opportunity gives you that kind of potential and return on investment? It usually takes several years to return your profit.
Let's look at it another way: to go to school to become a Medical Biller, it will cost you on average, $20,000 to $40,000. That's less than the course with promotional package and one-on-one mentorship and they do not teach you how to start your own billing service, only how to bill as an employee.
Lastly, let's look at it like this: $2,500 a month at 5 hours a week is about $120/hour. Once you move from Chiropractic billing to another specialty, you have the possibility of making even more. There are plenty of college graduates who don't make that kind of money and they are saddled with debt.
I can not make any promises as to when you'll get a client, how big the client will be, how much you will make, etc. You have to put in the work, you have to make it happen. Those are some numbers based on the current averages of my trainees, to give you an idea of what is possible.
