I've spent much of my life asking one question:

Is there a better way?

I didn't start asking it because I wanted to build businesses.

I started asking it because I became a single mother in my twenties, and necessity has a way of forcing difficult questions. I needed work that could support my family, give me flexibility, and create a future that wasn't dependent on someone else's decisions.

So I started looking for a better way.

What began with learning medical billing eventually became a business. That business grew into teaching others how to build businesses of their own. Along the way, I realized something important.

The business was never the goal.

Freedom was.

Not freedom for its own sake, but the freedom to choose how I spent my time, where I lived, the work I did, and the kind of life I wanted to build.

Today, my work has evolved, but the question hasn't.

Whether I'm helping healthcare organizations rethink the way they approach revenue, teaching someone to build location-independent income, or writing about business and life, I'm still searching for better ways of doing things.

Hi, I’m Jessica

Because I don't believe unnecessary struggle is something we simply have to accept. I believe many of the problems we live with exist because no one stopped to question them.

Sometimes the answer is a better system.

Sometimes it's a different perspective.

Sometimes it's simply the courage to imagine that another path is possible.

That's the work I care about.

Helping people—and organizations—build lives and businesses with more freedom, more intention, and more possibility than they thought was available.
